I really enjoyed the Presence, Not Praise article! What caught my attention was when Grosz, talked about the negative reactions children can have to having too much praise. Some children may not perform as well after the praise or respond to the praise by quitting. I believe presence does boost the confidence of children because it shows someone cares. In absence children seem to loose focus and also not perform as well. The link to How to Craft Constructive Feedback is informative because it gives an outline to how to give constructive criticism . Observe, Describe, Suggest is a logical way to give criticism. It is important to always describe how and article or reading made you feel because that will help the Author know if they were successful at how they wanted to protray their story.                                                       ...

Feedback Thoughts....

I read the "5 Tips For Taking Feedback Like a Champ" article and I enjoyed the reading. The two tips that I could relate most to are, "reminding yourself that having growth areas is a good thing- it means you haven't makes out on your potential". I think it is important as a human being to continuously grow because there isn't any progress in life if we do not grow internally. The next, tip that I like is, "Find the positive intentions behind your deficiency, and notice where it's a strength". I love the idea in any situation, turning negatives into positives. Often times, humans default to speaking on the negatives or focusing on it too much. The next article I read is "Eight things students should d when they make a mistake". I liked how insightful this article is to college students because as students we always need to know that there is help, which is a topic they discussed.
