Paris, France... My Favorite Place
Until a few months ago I never set foot off The United States of America soil. I flew to France and, I remember the first thing I thought to myself was, be opened minded to the French culture. Little did I know that France was going to be my favorite place, Paris to be exact. It is so breath taking. The scenery is not the only thing that is breath taking it is the culture and people as well. The Eiffel Tower lights up beautifully at night.

When I arrived at the biggest museum in the world, The Lourve. I was super excited because it is the home of The Mona Lisa. I was in awe when my eyes laid on the art piece. However, I was surprised at the size of the picture. There was a lot of people that wanted to see the picture of course! The bad part was it took forever to get to The Mona Lisa because the museum is so big and there was a lot of people crowded around the art piece.

The Louvre is amazing, isn't it? I remember spending so much time there when I was in Paris years ago, and also at the Musée d'Orsay. As a connection with the India class: do you know about the history of the French in India? Along with the famous English and Dutch East India companies, there was a French East India Company also; you can read about that at Wikipedia if you are curious: French India ... French is even still one of the official languages of India in the Pondicherry territory!
ReplyDeleteYes it is absolutely amazing ! I wish I could dedicate three days to the whole museum. I did not know that there is history of India in France. That is pretty cool how culture submerge and do business together.
