Fairytale Case Files : India

The title of this Story book justifies the literature very well because the stories are exactly what the title says, " Fairytale Case Files" and they are taking place in India. This topic of Fairytale is not completely new to me. I took a Religious Studies class that used some of verbiage used in these case files. The introduction to this Storybook was okay, it did prompt me to read these stories. The Author laid out the foundation in the intro for the rest of the case files, rather than giving a synopsis. I find the mysteries that Wolfgang has to solve intriguing. I like the visual picot used in the introduction of the three elephant heads, it made the story easier to picture. The layout was pretty simple it is a dialogue. However, what I do like about the rest of the Story book is the Author notes at the end of the stories. I will definitely use that in my own project. It help me and I'm sure the audience understand the picture that the Author is trying to paint.

Food and Culture : India

The title of this storybook explains this well. The Author talks about food experiences in India and how their culture has an affect on what they eat. I personally think the intro is written very well the Author talks about their culture and tells us why certain spices are so important to them. The Indian culture uses spices for food and medicinal purposes. I like how the Author related the recipes talked about based on the cities that are visited in the Indian Epics. The layout of this storybook is logical and what I expected. Within the sections she explained everything in the introduction. It is also a nice gesture that the Author put a final statement. I will definitely consider putting final statements in my storybooks.

Zoo Animal History

I am not that big of a fan of this storybook however the story is interesting . I think the Author should have used an easier font to type the story with. The font is a little distracting and takes away from the story. I like how the different stories were broken up and the author explains through the story tellers at the Zoo. The layouts is nice for explaining the topic. The introduction to the Storybook prompted the audience for the rest of the story. The idea of the Zoo trolley was great and it caught my attention. I personally think making the introduction fun sets a great tone for the rest of the story book. The site map at the end of the story book is useless in my opinion. Everything is easily accessible from the side of the post. The picture that caught my eye is the picture of Hanuman he is a monkey that teamed up with Rama.
