Week 8 Comments and Feedback

1) As I looked back on my comment blog page and my feedback, the criticism that I have receive up until this point has been great and constructive. Some of the students helped me see something in my stories that I didn't see.

2) I would rate the feedback that I give an 8 out of 10. I say this because I always try not to be overly opinionated with my responses. I like to be mindful of everyone's creativity.  However, I do like to give different outlooks on what they write about and also new ideas.

3) When I do leave comments and read my classmates introductions I do feel like I connect with my classmates. Everyone has told great stories about what they like and their hobbies. I am happy about my introduction! I explained everything that I love and my hobbies. It is interesting to see who have the same interests and hobbies.

4) The improvements that I can make on giving feed back is reading more stories outside of this class. Sometimes, I find myself speechless. I think it is because this is my first time critiquing others writing. As the semester progress I am improving.

I chose this picture because anytime you get constructive feedback. You always have to try harder! There is always room for improvement.

Introduction To a Future Pharmacists

Hello bloggers! My name is Taylor Calvert and I am a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences. My majors are Chemical Biosciences, Pre-Pharmacy and a Spanish minor. The coolest thing about my major is I am learning about the human body everyday. I personally think everyone needs to know more about the human body to properly take care of themselves. The cool thing about having a Spanish minor is being able to communicate with a larger audience. The best class I took last semester is Human Anatomy because I learned so much about the human body hands on. I was grateful to have the opportunity to work on a cadaver, to see what the inside of our bodies really look like. I absolutely love to cook and to garden in my spare time! Extra Credit Reading: The Guilty Dogs

For my extra reading I decided to do Jatakas Tales! I particularly like the "Guilty Dogs" story. I like this story because it is a common thing to blame someone who actually did not do the crime. I thought it was pretty true that the King ordered for all of the dogs that were not royal to be killed. Especially since the dogs that actually did it was the royal dogs. I am glad in the story someone actually spoke up and asked the King if his orders were just to the dogs that were actually innocent. The dogs that actually did the crime ended up getting caught anyways. I am a firm believer of what is done in the dark always come to the light . I think that is the moral of the story in this case.
